The area around Gevrey-Chambertin offers natural surroundings full of wealth.

The Sentier du Tacot is a path, also accessible to bikes, which follows 30 km of former railway restored by the municipality of Gevrey-Chambertin.

Gevrey-Chambertin presents an ensemble of geological
and ecological wonder that has made it a national interest.
This is why the Combe Lavaux was established
as the first natural reserve of the Côte d'Or
in December 2004
under the name
"Combe Lavaux Jean Rolland."

Climbing

The countryside of Gevrey-Chambertin possesses 5 gorges, in which you can find multiple climbing sites and more than a few reputable wines (for afterwards, of course).
Combe lavaux is closed for climbing during febuary 15th to june 15th (protection of the pilgrim falcon)
